CQ CENTER OF EXCELLENCE REPORT: February 03 2010

The Football CQ Center of Excellence coaches had been selected players in different age groups for the up coming JPL season 2010.

The 20 players squad in under 12/13/14 and 15, boys, will re-start training for the final selection of 15 players in each group on Saturday the 13th of February 2010, at Norbridge Park, Rockhampton.

Gonzales said he is very concerned about the COE girls teams as the Zone sent more the one hundred invitation letters but only a few attended trials. Ten or twelve girls in each group with the majority of them coming from Gladstone or Biloela.

Gonzales approached many parents and coaches in pursuit of players, the answer was, players don’t like to play for the COE. Contact has been made with Football Queensland for advice and Gonzales was still waiting for them to advise what to do.
